Pahalgam Attack: Govt employees observe 2-minute silence | KNO

Srinagar, Apr 23 (KNO): The government employees in different departments on Wednesday observed 2-minute silence as a mark of respect following the killing of 26 civilians in Pahalgam. The government had asked all employees to observe a 2-minute silence at 3:30 pm today. "In light of the tragic killing of innocent civilians by terrorists in Pahalgam, all government office employees across Jammu and Kashmir are requested to observe a two-minute silence at 3:30 PM today as a mark of respect and solidarity," the spokesman had said, as per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO). Meanwhile, at the Civil Secretariat, Srinagar, two-minute silence was observed in remembrance and honor of Pahalgam attack victims. The legal fraternity at the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh observed two-minute silence to pay heartfelt tribute to those who lost their precious lives in the act of terrorism at Pahalgam. Commissioner, Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC), Dr. Owais Ahmed, along with senior officials of the Central Office, observed a solemn two-minute silence today.
